Future first-ballot Hall of Famer Derek Jeter had an incredible 20 seasons with the New York Yankees. The captain is a 5-time World Series Champion, 14-time All-Star, 5-time Silver Slugger and World Series MVP. On the front left tail is the “Majestic” manufacturer’s tag with a “STEINER” hologram serial number “146644” and a “MLB” hologram serial number “LH 896764” along with two flag tags reading size “48” and the year “2010”. On the left inseam is the “100% POLYESTER” tag with wash instructions. On the left chest is the “George M. Steinbrenner III - GMS - THE BOSS” patch embroidered in black and white commemorating the death of longtime Yankee owner George Steinbrenner. Across the front reads “NEW YORK” in navy blue on white tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the “BOB SHEPPARD THE VOICE OF YANKEE STADIUM” patch embroidered in black and white commemorating the death of longtime Yankee announcer Bob Sheppard. Adjacent below is a black armband commemorating the death of former Yankee player and manager Ralph Houk. On the rear collar is the official “MLB” logo embroidered in navy blue, silver and white. Across the back is the player number “2” in navy blue on white tackle twill. Jeter has signed the front of the jersey in blue marker with the added inscription “10 Game Used”, in our opinion the signature rates an almost perfect 10. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA and an additional LOA from Yankees-Steiner.
