Future Hall of Famer Sidney Crosby wore this jersey in pre-game warmups on March 17th, 2017 against the New Jersey Devils in a 6-4 victory. Crosby recorded 2 goals and added an assist. On the front left tail is the Reebok “SPECIAL EDITION” manufacturer’s tag size “56”. Attached inside below the collar is a Canadian flag tag that also reads the size “56”. Inside the back middle tail is a tag reading “Authentic Game Jersey of the Pittsburgh Penguins vs New Jersey Devils March 17 2017”. On the left inseam is a Reebok flag tag with jersey materials and washing instructions. On the upper right chest is the Captain’s “C” logo and on the upper left chest is a “Reebok” logo patch. On the v-neck is the official “NHL” logo. Across the chest is the large Penguins team logo crest in white and green tackle twill. The player number “87” appears on both sleeves in white on green tackle twill. The player number also appears on the back in St. Patrick’s Day themed colored twill on white tackle twill. Across the back on a green nameplate is the player name “CROSBY” in white tackle twill. Adjacent above is a “Reebok” logo patch. On both shoulders is a “Shamrock” logo in white on gold tackle twill. Crosby signed the back of the jersey in gold and in our opinion the signature rates an 8. The fight strap is intact. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us worn in the pre-game and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by a Penguins LOA, a Photo-Match.com LOA confirming the match and a Full PSA/DNA LOA for the signature.
