Ryan Howard had the best year of his professional career in 2006 when he earned the NL MVP award. The lefty-slugger hit everything thrown his way, batting .313 with a league-leading 58 home runs and 149 RBI. On the front left tail is a “Majestic” manufacturer’s tag with a size “54” flag tag. On the left inseam is a “100% POLYESTER” tag with washing instructions. Across the chest reads, “Phillies” in red stitching on white tackle twill (blue stitching for the dots above the lowercase i). The player number “6” appears on the back and on the left sleeve. Above reads the player name, “HOWARD”. These are done in red on white tackle twill sewn directly onto the grey jersey. Above the player name is an official “MLB” logo embroidered. Howard signed the jersey adjacent to the back player number in red marker with the added inscriptions, “MVP 06” and in our opinion, rates a 8 overall. Below the player number on the left sleeve is a “Majestic” logo embroidered. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use.
