This Alex Rodriguez road jersey is photo-matched to over 20 games during his 2005 MVP campaign which includes 8 home runs, 16 RBI’s as well as on September 28th when he broke Joe DiMaggio's 68 year old record for most home runs by a right handed Yankee batter with 47 on the season. On the front left tail is the Majestic manufacturer’s tag with a hologram from Steiner and an “ELITE” hologram. Attached below are two flag tags reading the size “48” and year “2005”. Across the chest reads “NEW YORK” and on the back is the player number “13”. All numbering and lettering is done in navy blue on white tackle twill. Rodriguez signed the front of the jersey in black marker with the added inscription “2005 Game Used AL MVP .321 48 HR 130 RBI” and in our opinion rates an 8. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use. Accompanied by a Sports Investors and RGU LOA’s confirming the matches, a Full JSA LOA, a Rodriguez LOA, Steiner LOA and MEARS LOA grading the jersey an A10.
