Bill Walton, backup to Robert Parish during the Celtics 1986 championship season was quoted saying; "He's probably the best medium-range shooting big man in the history of the game.” The statistics speak for themselves; Parish played in the NBA All-Star Game nine times, finished among the top 10 in the league in field goal percentage for six consecutive seasons, topped 10 rebounds per game in eight seasons and averaged better than 15 points in nine campaigns. As this awarded him to be a part of the NBA’s fifty greatest players. Painted mostly in white, with the player name white and black all on a green background above the panel marked “SPALDING” is “TO; ROBERT PARISH SCORING HIS 20,000TH CAREER POINT -ON- January 17,1992 vs THE PHILADELPHIA 76ers at BOSTON GARDEN”. The ball is also stamped “SPALDING Official Game Ball NBA” with commissioner David Stern’s name printed below. “BOSTON CELTICS” is stamped below the adorned panel. “SPALDING” along with the “NBA” logo appear on opposite panel. The ball shows game-use and decorated panel is in EX condition. Accompanied by an LOA from Robert Parish himself.
