Nicknamed "The Great One," Wayne Gretzky is deservedly referred to as the greatest hockey player of all time. He is the only player to have his number (99) officially retired by the National Hockey League for all teams. Inside the back below the collar is the “STARTER” manufacturer’s tag, below is the white “GRETZKY” name tag with black embroidery. Diagonally across the front of the jersey reads “RANGERS”. Across the back is “GRETZKY” sewn directly onto the jersey. The player number “99” appears on both sleeves as well as the back of the jersey. All lettering and numbering is done in blue on red tackle twill. On the back right and left tails of the jersey are the embroidered “NHL” and “STARTER” logos. On the inside back tail is a patch that reads “Wayne Gretzky Set 2 1998-1999 Season”. The fighting strap is intact. This jersey is properly tagged and was presented to us as team-issued.
