Luc Robitaille was an eight-time All-Star and was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2009. Robitaille wore this jersey on January 9th, 1999 during a game where he received an award for scoring his 500th goal one game prior. Inside the rear neck is the Starter manufacturers tag. Adjacent below is a strip tag reading “54 R” and adjacent above is an additional Starter tag with equipment manager markings in black marker. On the left inseam are two flag tags, one with jersey materials and washing instructions and a “United Garment Workers America” distributor’s tag. The fight strap is intact. On both shoulders is a Kings team logo patch. Below these and on the back is the player number “20”. On the upper left chest is the alternate captain “A” logo. These are done in purple on silver on black tackle twill. There is a large stain on the upper left chest around the alternate captain logo. Repairs are seen on the left and right sleeve. Across the chest is the large “LA KINGS” team logo crest. Across the front tail reads “LOS ANGELES” in silver tackle twill. Across the back reads the player name “ROBITAILLE” in purple tackle twill. On the back right tail are the official “NHL” and “Starter” logos. Fraying to the fabric is seen throughout the tails. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows outstanding use. Accompanied by a Photo-Match.com LOA confirming the match.
