When Steve Yzerman finished his career, he was the seventh all-time leading scorer in NHL history. Yzerman was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2009, his first year of eligibility and the Red Wings retired his number 19 jersey in 2007. Offered is Yzerman’s Stanley Cup Finals jersey from the 1994-95 season. Attached to the rear neck is the CCM manufacturers tag with the size “50” flag tag adjacent to the left. Above is the “East Side Team Sports” distributors tag. Stamped into the inside rear tail reads “AUTHENTIC 1994-95 DETROIT RED WING GAME SWEATER” as well as East Side Sports. On the upper left chest is the Captain’s “C” logo in red tackle twill and on the upper right chest is the “1995 STANLEY CUP CHAMPIONSHIP” patch. The fight strap is in tact. Across the chest is the large Red Wings team logo crest. On both sleeves is the player number “19” in white tackle twill. Across the back is the player name “YZERMAN” and beneath is the player number “19”. These are done in red tackle twill. On the rear right tail is a “CCM” logo and “NHL” logo embroidered. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows light use. Accompanied by a Hockeytown Authentics LOA.
