Inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2005, Steve Young is a three-time Super Bowl champion, a Super Bowl MVP, a two-time regular season MVP and holds the record for earning six passing titles. Young’s No. 8 is retired by the San Francisco 49ers franchise. On the front left tail is the Wilson manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. Attached is a size “44” flag tag. Adjacent is a box tag reading the year “95” embroidered in red. On the v-neck is the “NFL” shield logo patch. The player number “8” appears on the front, on the back and on each sleeve. Across the back reads the player name “YOUNG” on a red nameplate. All numbering and lettering is done in the same white tackle twill. Adjacent to the player number on each sleeve is a Wilson logo. Young signed the back player number in black marker and in our opinion the signature rates an 8.5. This jersey is properly tagged and was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA, a PSA/DNA COA and an additional LOA.
