Tom Cruise screen-worn racing helmet from the 1990 sports drama “Days of Thunder”. Cruise plays NASCAR rookie hotshot Cole Trickle who soon becomes archrivals with veteran racer Rowdy Burns. After both were seriously injured during competition, the bitter rivals end up becoming close friends. With Trickle’s spirits restored by a romance with neurosurgeon Dr. Claire Lewicki and close friend Rowdy still injured, Cole decides to race Rowdy’s car in the Daytona 500 against newcomer Russ Wheeler. The black, red, white and blue helmet is sans manufacturing labeling. On the inside of the helmet is the size “7 ¼” sticker. Across the front visor and on back reads “Cole Trickle” in white. Adjacent near the outside right ear is a microphone hookup assembly. Chinstrap is intact. This helmet was worn in the first scene of the movie with Tom Cruise. The helmet was presented to us as screen-worn and in our opinion shows wear. Accompanied by Lelands documentation.
