Fourteen-time All-Star. These are the stellar career accomplishments of the NBA’s greatest player ever, Michael Jordan. In 1989-90, Jordan won one of his 10 scoring titles averaging 33.6 points per game. Jordan was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2009 and was named to the NBA's 50th Anniversary All-Time Team. On the front left tail is the MacGregor Sand-Knit manufacturer’s tag size “44”. Adjacent above is the “Designed & Tailored Exclusively for CHICAGO BULLS” tag and adjacent to the side are two box tags reading the year “89” and “2” LB” embroidered in black. On the right inseam is a flag tag with jersey materials and washing instructions. Across the front is “BULLS” painted in red on black. The player number “23” appears on both the front and back. These are done in red on black vinyl numbering. The player name “JORDAN” appears across the back in red vinyl lettering. On the upper left chest is the official NBA embroidered logo. Jordan signed the back of the jersey inside the player number in black marker and in our opinion rates a near 9. Inside the rear waistband of the shorts is the Sand-Knit manufacturer’s tag size “38”. Adjacent are five tags reading, “2” HR”, “2” LI”, “Designed & Tailored Exclusively for CHICAGO BULLS”, a blank tag with the player number “23” handwritten on it in black and a box tag reading “89”. Adjacent below is a box tag reading the player number “23” embroidered in black. This stitched tag is rare and likely makes the shorts the initial shorts ordered for the season. Jordan signed the front of the shorts in black marker and in our opinion rates a strong 8. Below the signature is an Upper Deck hologram serial number “SHO26620”. The white shorts are tinged pink from multiple washings and wear. The jersey shows evidence from prior framing however it displays beautifully. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use. Accompanied by an Upper Deck COA, two Full JSA LOAs and two additional LOAs.
