“Larry Legend” was voted one of the top 50 players in NBA history in 1996 and in 1998 was elected to the Hall of Fame. Inside the rear collar is the “Sand-Knit” manufacturer’s tag with size “46” which is partially detached. Adjacent is the “Designed & Tailored Exclusively for Boston Celtics” tag which is also partially detached along with two strip tags with “88” and “2”LB”. Across the front is “CELTICS” painted on in white block letters with yellow borders. Each sleeve features the team Shamrock logo done in the same paint. On back is player name “BIRD” done in green tackle twill on a white nameplate. The nameplate covers the Velcro remnants as the old plates would be applied at the four corners. The team began to sew on the nameplates after fans would tear them off the player’s backs running in and out of the tunnel. At the right chest is the official NBA embroidered logo. The warm-up is properly tagged, was presented to us as worn and in our opinion, shows wear.
