Hall of Famer and Top 50 Player Dr. J Julius Erving won three championships, four MVP Awards, and three scoring titles. He is the fifth-highest scorer in basketball history and was the only player to have been voted Most Valuable Player in both the ABA and the NBA. He was elected to sixteen All-Star Games (5 ABA and 11 NBA). This shirt was worn by Dr. J during his final All-Star Game in 1987 during which he scored 22 points, had 4 assists and 5 rebounds. On the left front tail is the “Sand-Knit” manufacturer’s tag with size 40”. Across the front is “NBA ALL-STAR” painted on in white block letters with blue borders. Player number “6” appears on both the front and back. Player name “ERVING” appears on back. All these numbers and letters are painted on in white. Down each front on the left and right sides are six white painted on stars with blue borders. At the left chest is the official NBA embroidered logo. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, shows appropriate use.
