Michael Jordan did everything in the 1987-88 season. Jordan won his first regular season MVP, averaging 35 points per game (NBA scoring champion) in addition to 5.5 rebounds, 5.9 assists and 3.2 steals. Jordan won his lone Defensive Player of the Year award, leading the NBA in steals and adding 1.6 blocks per game. On the front left tail is the Sand-Knit manufacturer’s tag size “44”. Above is an additional Sand-Knit tag reading “Designed & Tailored Exclusively for the CHICAGO BULLS”. Adjacent are two white strip tags that read “87” and “3”LB”. On the right inseam is a tag that reads “100% NYLON” with washing instructions. On the upper left chest is an official “NBA” logo embroidered. Across the chest reads “BULLS” painted in black on white. The player number “23” appears on the front and on the back in black on white vinyl. Across the back reads player name “JORDAN” in white vinyl lettering applied directly to the red mesh jersey. Jordan signed the front of the jersey in black marker and in our opinion the signature rates a 7. This jersey was traded between NBA equipment managers and comes from an impeccable source. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by a Full LOA from JSA, an athletic trainer LOA and a Photo-Match.com LOA grading the jersey a perfect 10.
