This blue Western Conference All-Star jersey was worn by Hall of Famer Ralph Sampson on February 10, 1985 in Indianapolis, Indiana where Sampson was named the All-Star Game MVP. Sampson helped the Western Conference to a 140-129 victory over the Eastern Conference with his 24 points and 10 rebounds in only his second season in the NBA. On the back right tail is the “Sand-Knit” manufacturer’s tag with size “42”. On the left inseam is the “100% NYLON” tag with wash instructions. On the right chest is a large official “NBA” logo screenprinted in white and red. Across the front reads “NBA ALL-STAR” with the player number “50” in between. Down both sides of the jersey are six stars. Across the back is the player name “SAMPSON”. Adjacent below is the player number “50”. All lettering, numbering and the stars are done in white screenprint. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use.
