Bill Walton's collegiate basketball career may have been the most successful of any player ever. The eccentric center played three years of varsity ball under John Wooden at UCLA (1972-74) and was named the NCAA Player of the Year all three seasons. More importantly, Walton headlined a UCLA team that won an NCAA record 88 consecutive games and captured two NCAA titles. Walton won two more championships in the NBA, with the Trailblazers in 1977 and with the Celtics in 1986, and is a member of the Hall of Fame. The Boston Celtics warmup jacket is from the Celts' 1985-86 championship season. Walton's nameplate is sewn on the reverse of the button down jacket, which is worded "CELTICS" across the chest. There is a Sand-Knit Size 46 label on the left tail adjacent to a "Boston Celtics Sand-Knit" label. The jacket shows light use and exhibits the traditional four-leaf clovers on both sleeves.
