Mike Schmidt was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1995 on the first ballot. The 12-time All-Star won a World Series championship and was a three-time NL MVP. He was named to the MLB All-Time Team. On the front left tail is a “Wilson” size “44” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. Below is a strip tag with “81 2” embroidered on it. On the inside of the rear collar is a strip tag with “Schmidt” embroidered on it. On the left chest is a “P” logo. On the right chest and on the back is the player number “20”. Across the back reads the player name, “SCHMIDT” on a white nameplate. All numbering and lettering are done in maroon red tackle twill. Schmidt signed the jersey below the front player number “20” in green marker and in our opinion rates an 8 overall. This jersey exhibits substantial underarm staining from his red undershirt. Below the zipper is an extra button added by the team per Schmidt’s request. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use.
