Hall of Famer Earl Campbell was the first overall pick by the Houston Oilers in the 1978 draft. In his first professional season, he won the Rookie of the Year award and later won an MVP award. This jersey is cut above the manufacturer’s tag line and the year “1981” has been handwritten on the front left tail in black marker. Across the chest, the back, and on both sleeves reads player number “34” painted on in blue on red. Above the player number on the back reads player name “CAMPBELL” in blue on a white nameplate. Multiple small repairs are present on the back of the jersey. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use.
