Franco Harris was a first-round draft choice of the NFL's Pittsburgh Steelers in 1972, and was named the league's rookie of the year after gaining 1,055 yards on 188 carries, a 5.6 average. He rushed for 10 touchdowns and scored 3 on pass receptions. Harris was involved in one of pro football's most famous plays, the "immaculate reception" in the American Football Conference playoffs after that season. Harris won four Super Bowls with the Steelers and was named Super Bowl MVP in Super Bowl IX. The Sporting News has named one of the top 100 football players of All-Time. On the front left tail is the Medalist Sand-Knit manufacturer’s tag size “46” with washing instructions. Adjacent is a box tag reading the year “77”. The player number “32” appears on the front, back and on both shoulders in white tackle twill. Across the back on a black nameplate is the player name “HARRIS” in yellow tackle twill. A repair is present on the back as well as the right shoulder and football staining is present throughout. The sleeves originally were longer and have been shortened. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use.
