Carlton Fisk was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2000. In his career, he caught 2,226 games, more than any other catcher in history. He was an 11-time All-Star and hit 376 career home runs. Beneath the rear collar is the McAuliffe manufacturer’s tag with an attached strip tag reading the size “44”. On the front center tail is a strip tag reading the year “1975” and a strip tag with washing instructions. Across the front reads “RED SOX” and across the back is the player number “27”. All numbering and lettering is done in red on navy blue tackle twill. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, shows excellent use.
