Inducted to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1987, Larry Csonka appeared in three Super Bowls, winning two of them. Csonka was named Super Bowl VIII MVP, rushing for 145 yards on 33 carries and two touchdowns. Csonka was a major part of the 1972 undefeated Miami Dolphins campaign. On the front left tail is a heavily faded Russell Athletic manufacturer’s tag. The player number “39” appears on the front, back and both sleeves painted in teal on orange. Across the back reads the player name “CSONKA” in teal tackle twill on a white mesh nameplate. A repair is seen on the left chest and multiple repairs are on the left shoulder and sleeve. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use. Accompanied by a Photo-Match.com LOA grading the jersey a perfect 10.
