Hall of Famer Bobby Hull is the most beloved Blackhawk to have ever skated in Chicago. After entering the league in 1957-58, Hull led the Blackhawks to their first Stanley Cup Championship in 23 years with a brilliant playoff performance in 1961. Hull was twice awarded the Hart Memorial Trophy as the league's MVP. He joined the WHA Winnipeg Jets in 1972, and though his NHL career spanned only 14 seasons, his professional hockey career spanned a much longer 22. Hull tallied 1170 points while in the NHL, but also recorded 639 points while in the WHA, during which time he recorded four seasons of 50 or more goals and one in which he scored 77. Presented is a magnificent inaugural season jersey worn by Hall of Famer Bobby Hull while with the Winnipeg Jets of the World Hockey Association. Inside below the collar is the black and gold Maska manufacturer’s tag. Across the chest reads “Jets” beautifully chain stitched on the crest, a style that was only used for the team's first season. The player number "9" is on each sleeve and also on the back in red on white tackle twill. The jersey features a white nameplate on back with the player name "HULL" uniquely chain stitched on in red. The crest shows puckering and some minor staining, while on the lower front is a light material slash. On the left sleeve are marks, some board burns and red paint transfer. The right sleeve has a team repair and material wear, and on the inside of the jersey pilling is visible. A rare and highly-sought-after style from the WHA’s biggest star. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use. Accompanied by a Photo-Match.com LOA and a Brett Hull LOA.
