Fergie Jenkins was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1991. On the left front tail is the “Wilson” manufacturer’s tag with wash instructions and jersey size “44”. Above is “1970” embroidered in blue chain stitch. Fergie has signed the shirt in black marker adding the inscription “HOF 91 My Game Shirt” rating an 8. Inside the rear collar is a strip tag with “31-70-1-44” indicating player number, jersey year, set and size, respectively. Across the front is “CHICAGO”. Player number “31” appears on both the front and back. All numbers and letters are done in blue tackler twill. On the left sleeve is the “Cub” embroidered patch. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, shows outstanding use. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA as well as a hand-signed LOA from Fergie Jenkins on Chicago Cubs letterhead.
