Mickey Mantle is an American Icon. Playing all eighteen seasons in pinstripes, The Mick won three American League MVP Awards including the Triple Crown in 1956. He was a part of seven World Championship teams and was elected to sixteen All-Star games. His number “7” is forever retired by the Bronx Bombers and immortalized in Monument Park. Mickey was enshrined in Cooperstown in 1974 on the first possible ballot. Inside the right front waistband is the “Wilson” manufacturers tag with wash instructions. Adjacent is a second “Wilson” tag with “1968 SET 1.” To the right is a white strip tag with “Mantle 24 ins” done in navy blue chain stitch indicating player name and inseam, respectively. Adjacent to the first Wilson tag is “68” written in black marker indentifying the year. Inside the rear waistband is the Mick’s number “7” written in black marker. Inside the left front waistband is the pants size “35” also written in black marker. The pants show nice game-use and appear to have no alterations of any kind. Also included is Mickey’s navy blue spandex belt. The buckle is intact and shows signs of rust. Lastly are two white leggings, each measuring 27”. Take advantage of this opportunity to own a piece of baseball and American history, something game-used from Mickey Mantle himself.
