“Poole” manufactured sterling silver humidor presumably presented to Roger Maris to commemorate his historic 61 home run season in 1961. The humidor weighs 3.6 lbs., measures approximately 10” x 7” x 3” and is in NRMT condition. The cover features a Yankees emblem enameled in red and blue that reads “NEW YORK YANKEES WORLD CHAMPIONS 1961”. Below that the cover has been engraved with “ROGER MARIS 61 IN 61”. The interior cover has been engraved with the signatures of Maris and 36 of his 1961 Yankees teammates including Mickey Mantle, Yogi Berra and Whitey Ford. The interior of the humidor has been lined with wood and the bottom has been stamped “STERLING by POOLE” along with the serial number “79”.
