On the left front tail is the “Spalding” manufacturer’s tag. Attached is the size “44” tag. Below is “61” embroidered in navy blue chain stitch. Inside the left front tail is a wash instructions tag. Attached is a flag tag with “SET 1 1961”. On the left breast is the team interlocking “NY” logo which has been restored. On back is player number “38” which has been restored. All numbers and letters are done in navy blue felt. The name has been removed from inside the collar. The jersey shows game-use and other than what is mentioned appears to have no further alterations of any kind. The pinstripes on front appear to match up well to Blanchard’s 1962 Topps baseball card.
