The lone World Series championship won by the Brooklyn Dodgers was in 1955 when they defeated the New York Yankees four games to three. Hodges went on to be part of three World Series championship teams as a player and manager and was an eight-time All-Star. Manuf: Adirondack, Model Number: 113A (engraved on knob), Length: 35 in., Weight: 32.9 oz., Wood: Ash with a dark/light brown finish, Labeling Period: 1955 World Series, Condition: Cracked on the back hand. Ball/hit marks are present on the left and back barrel. There are blue rack marks on the right barrel and cleat marks on the right, left back and front barrel. Light pine tar use from middle to hand. This bat exhibits evidence of medium game-use and has has excellent player use attributes. This bat was bought from Hodges daughter in 1989. You would be hard pressed to find a better Hodges bat. On the knob is PSA/DNA sticker “1B11624”. Accompanied by an LOA from PSA/DNA.
