1939 World Series Program

Original program from the 1939 Fall Classic between the Yankees and the Reds. This marked the first time that a Yankee player had ever graced the cover of a World Series program. The cover features Lou Gehrig mid-swing with the Yankee Stadium facade and banners in the background. The program would be in EX condition but there is a crease down the middle of the program where it was folded in half and put into someone’s pocket.
