The Edward Levy contract agreement is handwritten in blue ink on a sheet of paper dated March 26th, 1936. The agreement states that Levy will earn “250$ per month and report for development to any class B club which the said American League Baseball Club of New York may designate”. Levy as well as the agent for the club have signed the bottom in blue ink and in our opinion the Levy signature rates an 8. The cover of the Theo Kleinhans contract reads, “AMERICAN LEAGUE PLAYER’S CONTRACT - The American League Base Ball Club of New York with Theo Kleinhans”. The cover has the signature of the American League president William Harridge and is dated, “APR 18 1936”. The body of the contract states that Kleinhans earns “an aggregate salary of $600 per month”. The second-to-last page is signed in a secretarial Jacob Ruppert signature and Kleinhans in black ink on April 13th, 1936 and in our opinion the signatures rate a combined 8. The cover of the Roy Johnson contract is of the same style as Kleinhans’ other than the name is “ROY JOHNSON of San Francisco, Calif.” and the date is “APR 10 1936”. The body of the contract states that Johnson earns “an aggregate salary of $10,000”. The second-to-last page is signed in a secretarial Jacob Ruppert signature and Kleinhans in black ink on March 2nd, 1936 and in our opinion the signatures rate a combined 9. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
