The Washington Palace Five were an ABL team during the 1920s. Inside the right tail of the sweater is the Spalding manufacturer’s tag with equipment markings handwritten on. Across the chest reads “PALACE CLUB” and on the back reads “WASHINGTON”. All numbering and lettering is done in navy blue felt. Numerous repairs are seen throughout the front and back as well as many small unrepaired holes however the jersey displays well. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows outstanding use.
