Two William Howard Taft Presidential documents dated April 26th, 1912 and April 26th, 1911. One document appoints Charles Howard Goodrich as “First Lieutenant in the Medical Rescue Corps of the Army of the United States” and the other appoints Fred M. Perkins as “Lieutenant junior grade in the Navy”. Taft signed on the appropriate line and in our opinion the signatures rate a combined 7. Taft’s Secretary of War/Navy signed next to the President and each document has the appropriate War and Navy seal on the bottom. Age appropriate fading to the ink and documents is present. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
