This red polo shirt was worn by Tiger Woods during the final round at the Australian Masters Tournament on November 15, 2009 where he won the tournament by two strokes over Australian Greg Chalmers. Tiger opened the tournament shooting a 66 in the first round, tying him for first in the standings. In the second round Woods shot a 68, which gave him the tournament lead at 10 under. Woods shot an even par 72 on the third day giving him a share of the lead once again. With his iconic “Sunday Red” on for the final round, Woods shot a 4 under 68 and finished at 14 under for the tournament earning him the gold jacket and the tournament win. On the inner rear collar of the polo is the “Nike” manufacturer’s tag with size “M”. On the back is the serial number “04 079955”. Adjacent above is a black tag reading “TIGER WOODS COLLECTION”. On the left inseam are the wash instructions and an extra button. On the left chest is the Nike “Swoosh” logo embroidered in white. On the left sleeve is the “TW” logo engraved into a metallic strip that has been sewn on to the polo. On the back neck area is the “TW” logo embroidered in white. Woods has signed the front of the shirt in black marker with the added inscription “09 Australian Masters Champion Sunday Red”, in our opinion the signature rates almost a perfect 10. Below is “1/1” as well as the UDA hologram numbered “BAM02390”. The shirt is properly tagged, was presented to us as tournament worn, and in our opinion, shows appropriate use. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA for the signature and an additional LOA from UDA stating that they witnessed Tiger Woods sign this shirt after his tournament win and is 1 of 1.
